Sakaja Announces Bid for Nairobi UDA Leadership



Nairobi governor  Johnson Sakaja has intended to run for the Nairobi United Democratic Alliance (UDA) chairmanship.

In a public statement made on Friday, Sakaja emphasized his commitment to bringing positive change to Nairobi through effective leadership within the UDA party.

The Nairobi governor highlighted his track record of service to the people of Nairobi, citing his efforts in championing various development projects and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of residents.

“I want you to get this from the horse’s mouth; I’m vying for Nairobi chairmanship position in United Democratic Alliance party,” Sakaja said.

He also expressed his dedication to promoting unity and inclusivity within the party, stating that he would work tirelessly to ensure that all voices are heard and represented.

The Nairobi UDA chairmanship election is slated to take place in the coming weeks, with Sakaja set to face off against other contenders vying for the position.

Sakaja will face off with Embakasi North Member of Parliament James Gakuya who has expressed interest in the same position.
