ODM leader Raila Odinga has organized a meeting with key leaders of the Azimio La Umoja coalition, including MPs and senators, ahead of the planned protests on Wednesday.

The coalition’s top leaders are expected to attend the meeting, which will be held at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Foundation in Nairobi. The purpose of the meeting is to provide a platform for discussions and to create a roadmap for the upcoming protests.

The meeting is also expected to unveil a plan for how the protests will be carried out across the country and the role each leader will play. The coalition will address a press conference later in the day to discuss various issues regarding the protests.

Sources have indicated that the meeting will also address the government’s plans for Wednesday, following a State House meeting that reportedly outlined measures to counter the Azimio protests.

The meeting comes two days after President William Ruto sanctioned a meeting at State House Nairobi with the Kenya Kwanza leaders, during which a plan was allegedly hatched to counter the Azimio protests.
