Residents in Kibra have called for peace in the wake of the political party nominations expected in April. a report by UKAID hinted that over one thousand people lost their lives as three hundred and fifty thousand people were displaced in the 2007 post-election violence. The situation was however was seemingly contained in the 2017 election with few cases reported all over the country
