Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua has announced her intention to run for president in the 2027 General Election, declaring she will no longer serve as anyone’s running mate.

Speaking during a Friday burial in Kiandieri, Kirinyaga County, Karua stated, “I’m beyond any running mate position. I will be going for the top seat in the next election.”

Karua also condemned the recent wave of abductions and extrajudicial killings, attributing them to individuals believed to be police officers. She urged the William Ruto-led administration to end the troubling trend.

“These abductions and killings of our youth is now a worrying trend that must stop forthwith,” Karua warned.

The former Justice Minister has been vocal against the government’s actions, pledging to hold it accountable alongside other like-minded Kenyans.
